The gymSAFE program is a two-step injury prevention service designed for gymnasts. First, athletes complete a movement screen that evaluates strength, flexibility, and movement patterns to identify potential injury risk factors, with individualized feedback provided to each gymnast and trend data shared with coaches. Second, gymnasts and coaches attend a Prevention Intervention Clinic, where results are reviewed and athletes receive personalized “pre-hab” exercises to address identified weaknesses and reduce injury risk. The program also includes optional private consultations, requires minimal gym equipment and space, and costs $45 per gymnast, with coaches and parents able to attend the educational clinic at no additional charge.
