It's all about that BRACE

Far too many people lift without knowing how to properly brace their core, which leads to poor stabilization of the spine & can contribute to countless unnecessary injuries. It doesn’t matter if you wear a belt or don’t wear a belt, bracing/proper breathing is a skill that needs to be learned and incorporated into every lift/workout move you do. It should become second nature to you.

Proper Posture. Transversus Abdominus is activated. Spine is neutral, weight in feet is evenly distributed, chest is tall and lifted, tailbone is slightly tucked under.

Reminder: a belt is NO SUBSTITUTE for poor bracing!
